I'm a photographer currently based in the Midwest.
I like to tell a story with my images, and give a voice to the things I photograph.
My main focus is shooting food, product, and location photography.
My interest for photography started at age 16, when I took my first photo class in high school, I was immediately hooked.
I saved up my money, bought an old darkroom, and set it up in the basement of my old house.
Before photography I was very much into painting. Photography appealed to me because it was much faster, capturing images, developing, and printing, no waiting for paint to dry.
I also loved the technical aspect of how photography works. Cameras, lighting, printing, the equipment, all to capture and create images.
I earned my BFA from UW Milwaukee, during that time I started assisting photographers in Milwaukee and Chicago.
This lead to working with more photographers, photo studios, carrying out all aspects of production work, and traveling around the country for jobs.
I've done work for both print, and web campaigns. Working directly with large and small businesses. As well as ad agencies, and magazines.
I'm always available for travel, and up for a challenge.
I try to hold on to the curiosity, and enthusiasm I had as a kid for photography, in the way I work now.
